RB25 into R32 transplants are for those that would sleep with their girlfriend's easy friend!

i beg to differ. i like to think of it as trading in your useless bitch of a girlfriend for her hot sister who puts out better :)

bubba, so much love for the rb30...

but then yours is running n shit right?!?

Not quite but that's for financial reasons, god damn GFC :D was running perfectly fine when I pulled it apart :whistling:

Edited by bubba

i went the rb22 for different reasons.... one largely being i had a heap of rb20 goodies already and i couldnt be bothered selling them off and buying rb25 stuff ie: ecu etc for the conversion and a had a time limit

also as I thought for what I do Id rather a brand new engine than a 100k old rb25

I wouldnt say its the cheapest option but im happy with the outcome overall and does its job very very well... is responsive enough, takes a hiding, makes the power and still revs its nuts off

all I will say re: Lewis is.. mine breathes like a mofo as its built loose so if its for road use ask it to be built tighter

each to their own, depends on what you want outta it and why etc

    • Connected to plenum towards the rear end. Yes, absolutely required for the ECU. Even Nistune can't save you if you don't have it.
    • Can confirm solenoid makes no difference. I finally removed the solenoid and the wire off my engine loom and there is no issue with boost. Keep in mind, this is the solenoid, and I've got a Nistune. After the boost controller, I ran the car for a day with the solenoid unplugged - no issue. So then I just ripped the whole thing out. Like @GTSBoy mentioned before, the ECU just sends an earth signal for the 2-stage boost. And looking at the wire going into the solenoid, that just had 2 standard wires and did not look important 🤣 As for boost sensor: I saw somewhere that the vacuum line the gauge uses is at the back of the engine on the driver side. I never touched that but assume ECU uses that??? (maybe? Just assuming)
    • I still remember it trying to rip the steering wheel out of my hand when I put it into a 4wd power slide lol
    • Im also amazed how well Attessa holds up to all of the abuse. Especially with the burnouts and crap you guys used to do at Texi!
    • True! I think I'm closer to 06 with the cameras in phones being out there more. And the nearly impossible to use internet web browsers. Or paying for ring tones... Man I hated when we couldn't just compose a ringtone on a Nokia anymore! These days I just hate it if my phone rings, beeps, boops, or vibrates!
