After cleaning my blow off valves, taking them apart, oiling the pistons and putting it back together again, they now scream.... I also loosened the spring tension slightly because I was getting minor flutterdump.

Scenarios:

Doesn't scream from -7 psi - 0psi.

Starts to scream > 0psi and gets louder to around 6 psi.

Goes away from 7-14psi.

BOVs are blitz DDs.

Anyone have any ideas why?

I took them apart and retigthtened them again but the problem didnt go away.

I'm thinking of putting some gasket sealer in between the gaskets, assuming it's a leak in the gaskets.

Yup, if it's like a high pitched "weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee" noise... check the seal of the bov to the pipe... happened to one of my old WRXs just put some exhaust cement (like gasket goo) to make a tight seal.

Update:

After adjusting the spring rates, which didn't make the sound go away, it's narrowed down to the seals. I pulled the BOVs off and fitted the stockers back on. Car runs fine, will get some gasket seal.

Funny enough, I was curious to know if the stock ones would blow off as well, but the car stalled. I guess the spring rates are really weak in the stockers.

There you go... have some gasket seal handy when pulling apart valves.
