I did a RB25 turbo swap on my RB20DET R32.

Just thought I would put some points/tips up for first time users.

it is best to remove all intercooler piping

The oil line on top of the turbo-

Find the end (on side of block) and undo this helps heaps when pulling turbo out or placing back in.

Coolant line on outside (non eng side) find and the end near the block and loosen this will help with pulling turbo out and placing back on.

Best to undo the bolts for the dump pipe. Although it can be removed with turbo just makes it a bit harder.

You will lose a lot of coolant and some oil when doing this.

It's good practise to use new gasketes each time you remove something that has a gasket, as when placing it on you cant garnetee the seal.

There is most likly a tourqe for the bolts but i didn't know them. so i made shore i did them up tight. plus mine had taps so if they did start to come undone they will get stoped. If you know the tourqe do it up to the tourqe.

also when putting the turbo on, before connecting up the oil return line, disconnect the injector loom and coil pack loom and turn the car over until oil comes out of the turbo. then connect up the oil return line. this way you know that it is going to get oilflow
