Why Does My Gearbox Only Take 3ish Litres

i know that rb25 boxes take 3.8litres, but i bought 3x 1lt bottles and it seems to have reached the filler hole (hasnt pourd out yet, but when i stick my finger in and down a bit i feel the oil) my car isnt on an incline either. whats the story? and should i be worried? should i be putting the car on an incline so i CAN get 3.8lt in?

if its on a level surface then just fill it till it flows out of the filler hole...

you never get all the old oil out and thats probably why it won't take the complete 3.8L.

just pour it in till it leaks out or filler hole.

what oil did you buy?
