Hi all,

I am getting some fresh brake pads for my R34 GTT taxi and wouldn't mind getting the rotors machined first.

I believe they've never been skimmed before and all four have slight lip on them. Stock brakes all around.

Do you know a decently priced (read: cheap) brake workshop in Melbourne (inner-mid suburbs) that you can recommend?

Getting new rotors is not really an option due to cost. Thanks

do they take them off the car and put them back on etc? or do you have to take them in yourself?

some places can do em on the car. I take em off and down the street from our workshop to the wheel/tyre place and they do em for $10 a pop if its one of our customer cars (trade price), or a slab of beer if its for one of the boys. they charge customers $20 each normally I think and take em off for them along with tyre fitting/wheel balancing.
