i run my car with safc2 for years and never hit r&r and i was running up to 280 rwhp and 12-13psi on the stock turbo! i did have the nasty power dip half way up the power curve though.

i think what the guys above have said is that nasty power dip is in fact R&R.

The flat spot is the ECU saying NO until the airflow drops below the threshold. You can clearly see that the boost spikes, power dies in the ass, boost drops (and thus airflow) and then power recovers..

i think the boost increase is mostly from the retarded ignition timing around that area. then the timing picks up a little in the top end. as for fuel it's probs running at 100% inj duty from around 5000-5500 all the way to limiter, so as the airflow increases a touch above that it becomes slightly less rich
