R33 Ecu Plug And Loom

Hi guys,

I am looking for a ECU to engine bay loom for a R33 S1 because the previous owner has cut out the ECU and plug. So now I am left with a bundle of wire where the ECU mounts.

If I cant find a loom can I use any other models plug? ie R32 or anything else if I rejoin the wires down near the kick panel?

Also looking at the wiring diagrams it looks like there is double ups in colours etc, red,green, white/black, black, black/red for example that go to different pins on the ECU. Hope that makes sense. Bit confusing but it shouldn't matter which pin they go to as I assume that they are going to the same parts?

If it were me I would get another R33 loom from someone wrecking a car.

Does the S2 Loom work with a Series 1 engine? Are all the plugs the same?

there are a few different plugs i think. AFM and TPS are different (not sure if they are on the loom you are talking about). also not sure if where it plugs into the coil loom is different as s1 has the ignitor unit there and the s2 doesn't.
