M35 Bov?

I replaced mine with a Turbosmart Dual Port. Theo has the same one, and Scotty has a Turbosmart Kompact. Little bit of flutter but if you're smooth it's hardly noticable.

I didn't like the idea of replacing one BOV having issues with a second hand one when they're all prone to doing this.

Given the OEM one seems able to hold pretty decent boost; why not a replacement new OEM one? It's lasted 10 odd years; time for a birthday present?

They are supposed to be the same as an R32 GTR BOV (I realise they use 2); yes?

Valid point. Probably should have called Nissan, but the Turbosmart works a treat.

Can you run a R32 gtst or gtr bov? i've got one of each laying around. Why don't the m35 ones last, when it's not an issue on a 20 year old r32.

They last fine, they just make a farting noise as the plastic piston wears slightly it seems. A GTR/gtst one should work as so does the Kompact Turbosmart return bov.

Installed the Turbosmart Kompact plumb back BOV.....you can still make some funny flutters with it but no farting and under load releases pressure the way a BOV should.....
