Why not point them at traffic? People will think they're speed cameras and slow down.

Nah it's a bulbous beige looking thing on a stainless shaft, high up on the right hand wall.

Just went down there, was the 'thing' on the right wall & not the ceiling?

Saw something but not sure if I'm looking at the correct thing though...

EDIT: Does that also explain why most people are driving 10km/h under?
