Interior should be partially complete in a few weeks. I've got the Evo IX Recaros installed now, SpeedHut gauges on the way, and a friend of mine is layering a couple sections of the dashboard in carbon fiber, outer edges of the dash as well as the center radio trim will be done in flock material. So the dash will be installed in a few weeks, but the door panels and center console will be custom made from fiberglass and carbon fiber, so those will take a bit of time to do. Between work and college, my time has been very limited lately. So things will be a bit slow going.

Car is going into the body shop in February for a complete restore. I'm keeping the stock R32 front, East Bear rear bumper, and Bee*R side skirts.

Got my set of gauges in today.

Love them! Can't wait to get them installed with the new dash.

Dude awsome!

How much does it cost for a set like that mate with the gtr inside?

I love it

I paid $850 US shipped. However, I only paid for the GT-R logo on one gauge, as it's a $25 option (per gauge I think). So they made a mistake and accidentally did it on all the gauges, I'm trying to figure out if I want to keep it that way or not.

Company e-mailed me back about returning them. I'm going to send all but one small gauge and the tach back. So the center gauge in the cluster will have the logo, and the center gauge in the triple center pod will have it as well, should flow pretty well without being overkill.

How's this coming along? Interested in a few more details regarding the interior :)

Do you know whether the 350Z steering column bolts in? I'm pretty sure the steering wheels are interchangeable as I have seen Skyline steering wheels in 350Z's so maybe the steering column would be aswell.

I really like your project and was looking at the steering column on a 350Z the other day which got me thinking lol.

    • Howdy all,   I had my rb25det S2 rebuilt and finally started it today but have run into a few issues  Engine sounds like a a diesel easiest way to summarise like small ticking, gets louder when revs are slightly adjusted  The engine builder repainted the engine cover leaving no where for me to go off with lining up the CAS so have it as central as possible so not sure it that could be affecting it?, changed the gearbox fluid too but won’t seem to go into gear when running, and only 1 to 4 when off having a hard time finding 5th and reverse anyone got any ideas or a base for me to start off? much appreciated
    • Well, no. It's an 023, which is pretty similar to an 040. Although it is hard to tell from the specs, as given.
    • Hmm. Maybe the (other thing I forgot about!) Haltech removes at least some, if not all, of the problem I described. I guess there is still the possibility of getting it wrong if the AC is set up/wired up for the Haltech as if it was in an R34 (simply because it's on a Neo), and that's playing foul with the R32 AC computer.
