What is the best way to check if you have a air leak somewhere in the cooler pipes? i have checked and tighted all clamps!

cheers

Using a smoke tester would be the best method, because it will send smoke signals from where the leak is.

im think im either going to make or buy a boost leak tester!

i have 3 questions tho

1, do you have to block both ends of the piping ( for example put your tester on the turbo outlet pipe to the cooler and block off at the intake near the throttle body)?

2, it is easyer to take the throttle body pipe off, can i put my tester there?

3, and if i put my tester there can i leave the other pipe still connected to the turbo? or wont that work or will is damage the turbo?

you want to block it off at the turbo end. this way you can test to see if the leak is coming from the inlet manifold.

if you have a boost controller you may want to remove it as some will leak if you pressurise it above the pressure it is set at. i know the turbotech ones will since they have a hole drilled in the side of them.
