Hey guys my fuel light is always on even when the tank is full... its only been happneing since I was messing around with my stereo... is it possible that I nicked something behind that dash or is there a bigger problem at hand ? Im using an after market fuel pump a walbro one... is it best to take this one to an auto electrician or just my mechanic ? or is it something I can check me self...

Did you take out the instrument cluster while doing the stereo? It does sound like the sender is working, but the wire that lights up the fuel light is all integrated into a harness off the back of the cluster. If somehow you've managed to feed power to it, that would explain why it's on.
