i have just installed my boost gauge i put the T for the pressure close to my boost controller is this ok or should it be closer to where ever it connects up to

also its a stock r33 series 2 with the boost set at stcok boost so at idle it reads -18 is this ok? if i rev it up to 4500 it goes to 0

Take it for a drive can't tell when reving in nuetral. Since its stock im guessing you are using the stock vacume line at the top of the head facing the heater hoses that go through your firewall, if so thats fine.
