Id be happy with 280. How much boost could i run on stock fuel system and ecu til i gaet it all sorted?
Nope, thats why ill get it going on say 7psi now, then buy pump , injectors etc. Any more advice or info to help me along?
It seems you have missed the OP's topic all together.

He is asking what else is needed once he has this turbo bolted on, and what he can do with it in the meantime. I dont see an issue, chill.

i am "chill" bro it clearly says in these quotes that he wants to run it on stock injectors and ecu. so maybe u missed the point buddy

You are spot on scott, thanks for understanding. I dont care if its slow for a while... it is a heavy wagon and slow now anyway.

then do it all properly and then when its done it will be a f**king animal.

You're still forming your own opinion on what he's GOING to do, rather than what he has said he will do.

He wants to put it on now, and then grab the other supporting mods. He asked (and might I add, YOU QUOTED) how much boost he could safely run with this turbo until he has the rest of the mods.

Stop telling him what you think he SHOULD do, and answer his question on what he CAN do.

Since you ask, yes it is a bad idea. Even with just 245 awkw my Stagea handled so much better on a twisty hill climb in the rain than the 2wd V8s around (as in behind) me.

But if you want to hang the tail out and burn rubber by all means rip out the awd (but why didn't you buy a 2wd version or a Commodore?).

I was hoping it will transform the car, its pretty sad when i have a swb pajero i put injection and turbo on thats faster than the stagea...

TBH dude, keep it simple and easy, go with a highflowed stock turbo. Bolt it on with a full exhaust, Nistune the stock ECU and enjoy it.

It's never going to be a Skyline though and it barely compares to my 32 but, for a >1600kg practical daily driver, it is phenominal :D

Nistune will definitely be suitable, you will need a Z32 afm though and a decent fuel pump (read: Bosch).

Edit: actually, give me more info about your stag (year, model, manual/auto, etc) as not all of them can be Nistuned easily.
