Sara and I competed in a SuperSprint Round at Carnell last weekend. Sunday morning was -6Deg. I got up early, nature was calling. There was no running water in the loo, all the pipes had frozen! good pics though.

HAha, thats brings back memories, used to live up that way when i was a kid..I live in melbourne now but these people dont know what cold is, waking up with all our pipes frozen, ice hanging of everything and the dogs bucket of water frozen solid..Worse bit was cause the ice on the windscreen is so thick youd have to drive with the window open to see where your going, it was f**king freeeeeezin...

But once the sun comes up and melts it the air is sooo fresh..I miss that... :P

Well Chris, I can't spaek for the others but, I work all day at my normal job (teaching kids how to bash shit with hammers) and then i go home, to my shed and, work on other peopls shit till about 6 or 7, have some dindin's and, go back to the shed and, play with my shit till the boss gets home from work at about 11:30 at night. Thats when I usually pull the laptop out and chill for a while before bed.

Times, well. The boss, she was running in the low 38's with an un tuned 3s drift pig on street 595 shitters. Tough class for her, sportsedan over 3L.

I got into the 35's. 2nd in class and 3rd outright. Lost to true track cars.

1st, FC RX7 sportsedan 35.13,

2nd, 500 hp VK IPRA 35.68,

3rd, My R33GTST road reg, full weight inc spare wheel and jack, 36.72.

PB in my Yellow Race R33GTST 34.6

    • I love my R32 interior but then I also love the generic 90's nissan vibe from R33s/S14s/Pulsars etc 100%
    • I have seen this happen in cases like the R33 GTR where they eliminated the ATTESA actuator rod retaining clip to save 5 cents. Parts diagram references it, the actual part doesn't. Also if you try and look up the specific retaining clip on an R33 GTR it resolves to nothing. But it exists on R32 GTRs as I discovered a week or two ago.

    • The R32 suffers from an instrument binnacle that is uncomfortably close to the design of a VN Commodore's. But beyond that, the layout of the rest of everything, and the materials (ie the vinyl coverings on dash, armrest, etc) are acceptable, and the patterns on the fabrics are not as blergh as those in the R33. And R33 seats are....quite unattractive. I know it's only small details there, but I reckon the R33 got worse than the 32. But the big blergh is the overall shape of the dash on the R33. It's just has that whole Maxima/Pulsar sort of look to it. Nothing special at all. Generic Nissan sedan. Whereas, at least the R32 dash/binnacle was different. Less a wide expanse of boringly curved plastic. More a "cockpit" sort of look, even if nowhere near to the degree that the A90 Supras got. R34 seats look good on their own, until you realise that they are indistinguishable from the shape and fabric on 70 other Japanese cars. And the foam bolsters on them suffer even worse than the earlier cars. Other than that I don't really have an opinion the rest of the R34 interior. I took the bits of the R34 I wanted (brakes and engine) and added them to the best external appearance Skyline in the modern era (the 32). So nyerr!
