Exhaust Out One Tip Only

I noticed the other week that the exhaust only flows out the left tip of the stock twin tip exhaust. Is this right, or should it flow out both?

you might have the variable muffler

in which case, you should have a button to control the rear muffler

quite often they get disconnected for compliance tho

get under there and take a look

Just got under and had a look, no wires ect, anything else that would indicate it is a variable muffler? Even when momentarily blocking the left tip nothing comes out the right tip.

The muffler says "Nissan calsonic" underneath it.

supposed to do that . opens up at about 4500 rpm

nah 99 series 2 stages. Dayz with cold area pack

So its normal on a stagea or just a 34gtr?

hi All

i noticed the same thing on my M35 rs four a few months back. so i got my brother to step on the accelerator and it open up both valves.

i'd say its nothing to worry about.

probably on a spring then, the air probably just pushes it open once you get enough revs/air flow up

yep mine was like that too, then after a while it stopped opening and my car didnt like it now ive got hks hi power
