Exhaust has arrived and wow - quality & workmanship is top notch as one would hope. They have kept it 90mm all the way through without the dip down at the cat, and I got them to skip the blue flame treatment thing to the tip.

Total weight is 7.2kg for the exhaust, 850gms for the test pipe.

Not at this stage - I already have their 90mm stainless front pipes on the car. However I might need to pull them off and mod them for a three bolt flange to go on my 34, so if that is the case I think I would. Get that full titanium sound going on! Let the wallet recover in the mean time ... damn brakes up next.

Got that wiper delete btw - many thanks.

Taking advantage of not having the windscreen washer bottle there put an extra inlet and ducting on the airbox. Used that memory wire ducting stuff so I can shape it under the guard and collect cool air from the front bar. No idea what effect this will actually have but can't hurt.

Nismo air filter - looks pretty much like a stock one but a different colour! +50rwkw

Hehe believe me it was checked thoroughly before I was willing to get under it with extra safety stands. It's been on the blocks for a good few months now - definitely strong enough and great having the car up at that height for fitting gearboxes, exhausts etc. Looking at getting a hoist soon though which will make life much easier.

Re: wheels the original plan was some 10.5 TE37's for my 34, then the black 9.5 TE37's +22 on to the 32, but having a few other thoughts the only issue needing them to clear the brakes set up with the 370mm v8 supercar rotors.

I have been looking at a few options - one being CE28n's in black or a dark gun metallic. Also looking at the ADVAN RS in dark gun which I love the look of - but I believe they are not forged and probably cost more than a new set of Rays.

Might do a test fit of my 9.5's and see how that looks, but the +22 is going to sit in a bit and not take advantage of the rolled / slightly pumped guards.

Yeah, getting that clearance is always an issue with big brake setups.

I know that my BBS LM's only has a bee's dick clearance space with the AP's 6 Pot calipers.

Forget Advan's, CE28n are the way to go IMHO. They will clear big brake setups and just look superb on these cars.

Whichever you go Paul, I just can't wait to see it up and running.

CE28's won't cover the brakes Paul. I tried :)

I think from Rays your only options will be TE37's, LMGT4's, RE30's or VR G2's (like Captain Close runs on his Audi).

Good to know. The g2 aren't a bad looking wheel - but might have to stick with the TEs as much as Troy disapproves - he's the one that got me to thinking about other choices.

Yeah but Troy doesn't like things that actually work - so my advise is to not actually listen to anything Troy says.

One day you will learn Troy is all about doing things incorrectly so he has an excuse for failure :)

Haha I hear ya

Nismo LMGT4 18 X 10.5 fit no worries.

Jacks car! Yeah those TE's and LMGT-4's just swallow up the brakes - great design a pity others aren't the same. The 18" TE's even go over 380mm R35 brakes.

As others have said, CE28s are a no go on 376mm sized setups.

This car is awesome but Paul just isn't awesome enough for the wheel setup I would put on it. Clears the brakes and woudl be what Steve McQueen would run on his white R32 GTR if he was still alive and gave a sh1t about Jap cars :)

Jacks Supercar brakes on his R33 were a nice setup but there was still a few little hiccups with it regarding offsets and tie rod end clearance. The calipers also saddle the rotor nicer so whilst using a V8 Supercar rotor and caliper can work on some wheels, running a V8 Supercar rotor with street caliper is going to limit your wheel choice further...but worth it to have the extra capacity of a 376 x 35mm rotor

Yeah, getting that clearance is always an issue with big brake setups.

Ok you got me with the slight on my character - ill bite. What are these glorious magical mysterious cylinders of brake clearing driving pleasure you speak of??

Steve McQueen is definitely one of my heroes - I probably still have the great escape on VHS somewhere and I would like to think I have similar taste in wheels as he.
