A-LSD on non vspec gtr?

Was reading a mag yesterday and it said that only vspec gtr's had the lsd, and that the tank for it is in the back drivers side (boot).

mine has one there, but isnt a vspec (afaik), what else can I look for to see if it could be? or would it just be a dood in japan who had it installed?

surly you wouldnt just install the tank for it ?

also for the light on the dash, does it only come up when theres a fault with it on? as ive never seen it come on, even around the track

btw mines a 95 r33.

take a photo of your rear diff and dash... then we will tell you what you got

If the rear diff has a finned cover, then it has an Active LSD.

The light on the dash only comes on if there's a fault.

that tank is for the gearbox split....which yours has....vspec has the same tank....just the diff is diffrent...dont beleive what you read in those magazines....most of it is all sh1t..
