Car basically finished now

heres a run down

Car - Nissan Skyline R34 GT

Colour - Black Magic

Body Kit - Top Secret

Wheels - Kazei (black & red)

Seats - Recaro SR11

Interior Trim - Sports Mesh

Suspension - Pedders medium setting

Brakes - Bendix street road and track brake pads

Graphics - Red & White stripes and sqaures

Now theres a choice of 12 names which are all a bit gay eg. "black magic", "Miami Rice"

In the end it didnt turn out with a veilside kit, 22 " dinner plate rims and a bright pink paint job, so it wasnt tooo bad

They where always going to restrict the options to stuff that was atleast decent looking/quality

Ultimate Street Machine eh...Shit I didn't know a set of hektic subs and a cat back in a N/A 34 is a Ultimate Street Machine.

Not going to bother building a forged engine now, just buying a N/A R34.

    • On R32s etc the variable resistor of the TPS is pretty much only for the auto trans CU. The switch is the idle position. Yes, later ones want to see pretty close to 0.45V to declare idle position.
    • TPS sensor needs to be adjusted such that idle voltage is 0.45V, then relearn the TPS if applicable. From what I recall in the R32 GTST and similar ECUs they care far, far more about the actual TPS closed switch but later models seem to only keep track of voltage.
    • What can't be done with a little bit of decking board or similar timber bolted to a hub flange via 2 wheel nuts is not worth talking about.
    • I noticed something. On the tps sensor and the sensor behind the adjustment screw is adjusted towards the far left. Are these screws supposed to be centered? (this sensor was in the same position before the tune as well)  Also attached a photo of where my car usually idles at when warm (sometimes a tiny bit above that). I think I might have screwed up the calculation and it might have better than I thought lol at 750rpm still not 650rpm though.
    • So for both general interest of engine health, and to rule out any coolant/oil issues, I organised an oil analysis done on the 125,000klm oil Results below, all good, just a bit of fuel dilution which I'm not too worried about
