Rb25de Will Idle (just) But Wont Rev

Hi Guys

Have been helping a mate who inherited a R33 GTS RB25DE Automatic from his old man. Car hasn't been running for nearly 3 years due to some clown tightening the timing belt tensioner with a breaker bar instead of a torque wrench. I have fixed that issue...had it running quite well for ages. Then, on a test drive, my mate managed to break down. Car restarted but will only idle (roughly). Now, when the key is turned on before starting, a loud buzzing sound comes from the auto gearbox which goes away when depressing the accelerator (sounds like a REALLY loud fuel pump noise). Will just start and idle, but will not rev above idle at all. Just chokes itself when using the throttle.

Any ideas?

checked the TPS and the AFM connections?

any error codes?
