HI guys i have done some searching but there seems to be some conflicting info on this topic. I want to test my knock sensors to see if they are working ok. How do i correctly tets them with a multi meter, and what should they read? Should they be diconected from the ecu or can i take a reading straight from the siganal wire goind to the ecu while still pluuged into the ecu.

i have taken idle readings of both sensor wires just in front of the ecu while all pluuged in and they are reading 2.4v each at idle. On eof the workshop manuals suggested .3V is correct at idle ? Can anyone help.....cheers
