My Ps3 Slim Creaks All The Times

Hi guys,

I m at a stage that I am sick of hearing the creaking noise from my PS3 when it is on. Read a couple of website stating that it is normal due to expansion of the "cheap Plastic case". Wanna know if yours PS3 slim creaks badly? thanks

Nope I havent had any trouble with mine creaking, I bought mine in March this year if that helps at all, perhaps they cheaped out on the cases at first.

my brothers does it to, pretty annoying

never had an issue with mine, im glad too because that sounds really annoying

there are a few PS3s out there that have this problem (both phat and slim). It doesn't affect the functionality of the system; it's just really annoying and is caused by the plastic expanding when turned on due to the heat and contracting after you turn it off.

yeah.....just irritating that you hear it constantly when the set is on.

Yes. Make sure its a non conductive type

EDIT: Im Slim. is it still under warranty?
