May be possible to use R34 ecu if you are going to replace coils etc and you can get a whole loom and fit it while your engine is out... and Nistune that. Anyone done that?

Coils, CAS and injectors are different..

Might aswell just start with a Neo head..

well he already has a 25de in his car. so I thought that would be the best place to go from.. using that loom and head. cas etc

he has an R32 DE head without VCT? or R33 DE head with VCT?

if he has the R32 head, use the R32 loom and sensors etc and just retune the stock ECU.

Yep, using the head/wiring/sensor setup that already suits the car is the easist way to go but as TiTs said, need to use a Z32 ECU if he wants to Nistune and retain VCT.

its a 33 head with vct.. which he wants to keep. could he just use the z32 ecu and get it chipped or tuned or would he need to get a nistune? (I know thats not the only option, but thats all his budget allows for)

Also with using the z32 ecu, what are the wiring differences that need to be fixed up?
