headlight level legalities?

i had noticed for a while now that my drivers lamp is lower than the passengers. i always thought that they were the same level when i got the car. had taken that lamp out befor to fix the front bar so i thought that i must have put it back lower when putting the car back together. so yesterday avo i decided to raise the drivers lamp to make it even with the passengers.

talked to a mate that night and he said that the drivers side lamp is supposed to be lower (factory settings) so that it doesnt blind oncomming traffic.

now the question is is it illegal to have ur drivers lamp the same level as the other and can u be defected for this if u get a cop thats arsy enough to do so??

depends.. if it looks like you have your highbeams on a cop might pull you over and give you a hard time.

a cop can defect you for anything mook, you must know that by now

the left one is higher so u can c if there is anything that may jump out in front of u - eg animals or drunk ppl coming outa the bushes

also if a cop gives u a real hard time, do the same back, u could even get them sent back to driving skool in some cases ive heard
