Chasing an alternative to the small lip spoiler that still allows me to do away with the factory one. I can have one custom made but it will cost more than $1000 and I can't bring myself to spend that sort of cash on a purely aesthetic mod.

Please feel free to point me in the direction of other companies that make such an item.

Cheers

dude i got one from do luck cost me a grand + fitting etc etc...do your self a favour an go the east bear carbon one...the weight of the do luck when fitted just adds to the normal boot weight as its just a boot cover and requires a panel shop to make it flush and look proper...east bear will bolt up lovely and fit perfectly give powerplay imports a call or import via jap website...but expect to pay around the 800$ mark unless you find a cheap one on yahoo auctions via import monster

The small lip spoiler you pointed out is what I'll settle for if I can't source what I'm really after before respray time, but here's hoping.

Thizzle is right, I'm after the East Bear specifically because I had read on a UK forum that the Do-Luck version was a sort of boot addition that would require time fitting, etc.

However, given how difficult it seems to be to get my paws on either, at the right price I'd settle for either, and a custom is job is not completely out of the question yet. I'm a patient person who can wait for the right price, but time is running out as I'd like it to get it done with the rest of the body.

I posted a WTB topic on R33 smoked side indicators probably a year ago and still haven't got my hands on some. May have to bite the bullet and buy them new for $100.

I'm stunned that more parted out wreck threads don't sell them.

And every now and then I stumble across old threads like, say, THIZZLE'S, where he sells the parts I want and then PRACTICALLY GIVES AWAY AN ENTIRE BLOODY SHELL FOR PEANUTS! And all because I never saw it when it was relevant. Balls............

    • I much prefer that to an actual oil pressure issue, never would of thought it would of been a volt drop issue but SAU brains win again. Guess ill be turning down the oil pressure limit for the track and hunting some grounds. Ill hopefully update this thread with some high oil pressure and solid ecu voltage logs.
    • You've just discovered a really good reason to tell yourself, yes, I do need to buy an aftermarket ECU. Put the MAF in the bin. Slap in the new ECU and have a think about what turbo sounds you prefer.  Do you want a 90's style BOV wooosh? Do you want a hektik tsututututu?  Mate, can't go wrong. Just gotta get that ECU and the world is your oyster.
    • Hi. Iam just curisou about this topic. I saw this video. It is about Greddy Type FV2. I know that BoVs are about that sound but how and when to use it? I read some topic here and from what i have understand on stock RB with MAF there will be some "problems" if you use this BoV? It vents the air in to the atmosphere and the MAF on stock car needs this air back in to the intake and not out? Or is it wrong? If so...i saw you can put some adaptor to circule air back...but does that not "loose" that sound? I saw another BoV from Turbosmart and it has two "exhaust" like ports? One is for the stock tubing for letting air back and one is for "sound" and let the air in the atmosphere? Can someone please explain? This is the Greddy one:  And this is the Turbosmart.     THANK YOU!! EDIT: So i read about this topic some more and i if i understand that correctly: That Greddy can function either like BoV or 100% Bypass valve? And that Turbosmart is what they called hybrid so you can adjust what and how many air can be vented out or back in? Is this right? THX!
    • That dirty voltage drop is the culprit I suspect
    • i cant get them all in 1 screenshot unfortunately as i just dont know how to move things around tbh, but they are all from the same log and the line crosses at the same point for all of them
