Wheel Studs..... Diameter & Thread Pitch?

Hi All,

Just wondering what thread diameter and pitch the wheel studs are on Series 2 Stag?

Planning to get some lock nuts.

Anyone have recommendation on lock nuts that a hard to get off?

Had some (cant remember) brand years ago which were crap, had 4/5 holes around

the circumference of a domed head wheel nut. Problem was, the nut key pins broke

quite easily. Never go near them again.

im also in the market for lock nuts so im tuned in, i cant justify the price of the rays ect brand ones.

actually you can look for yourself - they range from $20 set to at least $180 a set.

M12 x 1.25 is the size. I use Project Kics titanium lug nuts. They are lightweight and much stronger than alloy that eventually strips, i would go steel over alloy. Project Mu's and duralumins are kinda expensive but worth it for track work.

They are all lock nuts and are 7 sided and come with a hex socket. Always use oil and a torque wrench when tightening. Cheap isnt always the way to go, worth the money IMO.

Seen some similar at the shops today, cant remember the brand.

Now gotta decide on the ones that would be the hardest to get off.
