Hi Guys,

Have done a search on how to reduce body roll and it appears the best bang for buck upgrade is the swaybar.

From what I can tell whiteline swaybar it the way to go??

Does anybody know which one I would need and where is the best place to source them (I'm in Perth but I'm happy to order from wherever even the whiteline website if that's best just don't know which one I need and if its different for a sedan)

Also is the swaybar just a bolt on item and is there anything else recommended to change/upgrade at the same time?

I have BC Racing BR adjustable coilovers and a frust strut bar, thats about it.

PS: SydneyKid, if you read this I think you are a legend and whatever you say I'll probably do (within reason)

cheers guys,

Steve

spring rate/damping/arb's should all be considered into the roll reduction equation, too much arb will cause inside wheel lift, too much spring rate with cause harshness and lack of contact with the road over bumps.

how does the balance of your car feel? in whiteline you have the option of 20-22mm sway bars at the rear, 24-27mm. with your current setup id probably just go with the 24/20 adjustable setup, unless your car feel particularly oversteery or understeery?

Wise words.

By having a very stiff swaybar in the front, during cornering, it will not let the inside wheel droop and you will have limited your tyre contact patch with the road. Very stiff swaybars will also cause alot of camber change on the inside wheel (again by lifting it up) and again, reduce tyre contact patch.

Also bear in mind that a larger diameter sway bar that is hollow with thinner wall thickness is going to be lighter than its similar strengthed solid counterpart.
