Your better of getting a r34 smic as they are bigger, 33 is about the same size as 32.

as for modding only one pipe requires to be modded but it's tricky as the factory ones use solder to join some of the joit and welding can melt this and thus make the smic usless.

yeah i'm getting a 33 FMIC off a mate and his stock 33 turbo so i can replace the ceramic one and the FMIC is after market was curious if the piping kit would need much modding to fit it, didn't think there would be majpr differences. cheers

Neg, still ceramic. But a nice upgrade for your 20 either way.

I remember driving a 20 with 1 cracked exhaust valve running an R33 turbo, fmic, tbe and it was nice to drive. Lag was superficial and added mid-top end actually made it quite exciting to boot around.

yeah i'm hoping it still spools up quick as its for my drift/track car haha :rofl: just something cheap to give it that extra kick :(
