Hey Russ havn't caught up with you in ages mate how you been going up there in the far north ?. looks like it could be a pretty hairy drive up there mate considering how close some of the scenery (trees) are to the road looked like some nice driving there to mate Sarah must have obviously been pretty onto it with the pace notes hey. hi mate, yeah Darwin's good mate, beautiful weather here at the moment so loving that.

yeah sarah was great, she really got the notes out perfect ( didnt get sick either!)

we borrowed notes that ben and tim had written and they were heaps better than our old notes, an made a real difference.

Youll love the weather, for another 2 months. Check out NAMSC, they hold motorkhanas and the Rejex Rally. Goood times! Laurie Feehan is the guy to speak to. I have his number if you want it.

Yeah, great track, had some fun around there in all sorts of toys.

Ill go back for Rejex next year, gonna grab a shitter WRX and have some fun. Took the work hack in it last year, Lib GTB with some mods, came 4th overall, skipped a section for drinking instead. Would have come 3rd otherwise, got rookie award though. Had a fkn sore head the next day, actually had a sore head most of the weekend, fell into the wrong crowd.

    • Welcome.  Glad to hear that you have gained some knowledge that has helped you. I believe the only fix for the power steer belt is an electric conversion with a Holden astra pump. If you get a chance, post pics of your car, please. 🙂
    • Just ordered those bosses, hopefully that does the trick thank you very much everyone for your replies it's really appreciated
    • to have this type of adjustment possible with a curve as I wish, what budget (engine) should be planned?
    • People still have Skylines? I thought they're non-existent now.
    • Harness update time have had great fun and learnt so much already so far with this project. I started off making both the ignition and injector sub harnesses in the hope any mistakes i made here aren't as hard to undo and learn from as the main harness.  A cool comparison of the old harness using presumably TXL wire and the new which is using Tezel. Also opted to use DTM plugs to keep the whole setup as neat and tidy as possible and tucked the wiring under the coil bracket to try and keep it all from sticking out too much. Although the injector harness, I'm not overly happy with as I'm still using the rubber boots that are supplied with the type of plugs it just looks ugly and sticks out like a sore thumb with the white identifiers so a slight redesign may be done.   Then it was main harness time and most importantly trying to route it nice and away from the heat it will use the OEM heater hose routing which is no longer present to keep the harness up high and secure. it's amazing how much smaller this harness is able to be compared to the old one. plugged everything into the emtron and with the help of the tuner again attempted to start it up and instantly fired up and running smoothly on all 6 which was a big shock to myself. So still some routing and adjusting to be done for the final fit up and installing a knock sensor harness plug which is in the post all has gone surprisingly well.     The old harness for shits and giggles.
