howdy all,

Looking at getting some aftermarket cruise control for my R33. Saw a few old posts on here, so figured i would try and get some fresh info.

Anyone recommend any after market cruise control systems. not fussed as to whether its stalk type or button pad type. Just want something that works ALL the time, not when it feels like it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Cheers everyone

hope this is the right thread for this topic too!!!!

I was going to put one on as well. Asked and had a lot of people get back to me with good info. I haven't done it yet - one battle at a time and I'm fighting/modding elsewhere atm...lol.

On ebay they have the ap60 etc, they are supposed to be OK [i was told the stalk one was crappy]. I emailed the guy that was selling them and had a good reply, had some recommendations sent to me on what to get, I'll get them and post them up for you.

Tops mate, that would be great. Cheers!!!!

yeah i am keen to get one for my car as well (in no rush though). i have had 2 cars with aftermarket systems fitted (by previous owners). one was good the other not so good. the second one was very jerky when it was activated. there would be a sudden surge when it activated then it would settle down. other than that it was fine. both systems were stalk type ones.

install was relitively simple.

"please install a cruise control on my wierd volvo looking skyline wagon"

"sure"

....wait 3 hours....

"wow your ECU had some unusual connections. but its done now"

"thanks"

sorry can't remember price it as years. couple of hundred which is money well spent for convenience and my license.

So I it right to assume the nissan ECU is probably "cruise control ready" ie. plug in cruise control control box inline with the ECU?
