Sound Deadner Removal

How much dry ice do you guys reckon i will need to remove the sound deadening from my R34 GTR?

There does not appear to be much in the car anyway but dont want to run short.

I was going to organise 20kg.

What do you think?

20kg a bit over the top i reckon but better to have too much than not enough.

3 to 4kg mate.

One kg of block to do vertical surfaces a little easier.

Does dry ice work in 34's guys?

I know it works in 32's.

Didn't work in my s15 as it had the fibrous type deadener.

Is this not used in the newer skylines as well?

for what its worth, I just used a pneumatic chisel. Its comes off pretty quick. keep it on a low setting so you don't chisel through the metal and you are done in an hour.

think i used around 10kgs all up. Make sure u got cardboard sticky taped against the rear seat area so you can just slide it on the cardboard and let it start cracking. All other bits arnt to hard.

I got it from BOC think around $8 a kilo
