Yeah it would be cheaper but how often would u hit a 75hp shot in normal driving? I know my turbo has probably 60% efficiency in my normal rev ranage as I normally shift up near 4500rpm which is 7psi, providing you've spooled that much of course.

Much more practicial

:Bang: Johnny what you fitting it to

Got it in a 334dr at the moment and only took 1/2 hour to fit it..

we set it up through the RSM to come and go off aswell ..

Goes on the dyno next week to make shore the a/f ar good when activated

Its a little harder of QLD, most police officers know it is illegal...but then again, what you use in the sub box space is anyones guess...

Besides a dry system is alot easier to hide than a wet system...

I have run a couple of systems mainly on commodores of mates due to the ease of installation...they go a bit harder but the nos is only used at WOT...

Yes i totally agree, after this evening i can answer my own questions :D Its awesome im running a 75 hp shot and the car is that much fast its not funny. Its not as bigger kick as i thought it would be but its still awesome, im taking the car to willowbank on saturday to see just how much of a difference it made.

Cheers

Ill get some pics asap, i cant tell the exact cost cause i got the kit cost price as im a mechanic at Gilmour Developements until i start uni. Its a ZEX kit and i have to say the quality of the kit is excellent and very easy to install and set up only the length of the lines limit where you can put the control box. Its a wet nitrous system and the solenoids and control box and everything are all in one little neat unit, one wire goes to the TPS one to earth and one to an arming switch. My A/F guage says the cars is running very rich with the 75hp jets so im thinking ill either try get a smaller fuel jet or advance the timing till it pings then back it off a bit. I had to retard the timing back to stock though which makes everyday driving without gas a little boring but its definately worth it. I trip to the strip tomorrow and hopefully ill be posting up some low 14 sec quarter times.

Oh by the way yes its on a 25de.

Cheers

Willowbank Test n Tune results!! Holly shit ive never been happier here they are *shuffles through the 7 time slips*

KPH: 160.05

Reaction Time: 0.829 (crap!)

60ft: 2.391

I am absolutely stoked with the results. i ran like a 14.6 on my first pass just to see how things went then got right into on the second pass and ran that 14.1 and consitantly ran 14.2's for the rest of the night. My best pass without gas last winter was like 15.7 at 18 degreese and it was 28 degreese on the 14.1 pass then it hovered around 25-24 for the rest of the day/night.

NA skylines are slow aye.......

    • Hi soviet_merlin, We appreciate your concern regarding this possibly being some sort of PR/Political hype, I assure you that is not the case, I wish we could claim something like that, but in this case, we merely reached out for comment on the basis of the outrage we too felt, as those heavily in the automotive industry. Ps. the original source in the social media post is CarExpert not CarExplore.    Best, CE.
    • Made a bit of a discovery, but while I was cruising, I randomly decided to test to see if it worked and it showed up on my IC7. The entire time I tested it before, I never thought to turn the ignition on. I only tested it with head lights turned on but with the ignition off. Huge oversight on my end. I’m a dummy. I know.
    • G'day all, I have drilled and tapped the hole for the relocation of the timing belt tensioner. That was straight forward. I'm unsure if I need to also put another hole for the smaller stud that the spring behind the tensioner catches on (this is how it seems to work in its original spot). Or do you not use the spring behind it and just torque it down? Thanks in advance, I did a search but couldn't find anything related and it doesn't mention it in the rb30det sau guide.
    • Hi All,  just thought I would provide an update as I know smooth (Matt) was on this forum from 2003.    my brother Matthew passed away end of may 2024 at the age of 41 from liver failure. I am not sure how many of his original team krazy friends are still on here or active but thought it reasonable to let the forum know.    if you have any photos or pictures it would be great if you could share them.    it took me a while to work out he was active on here.    thanks so much
