Electronic Silencer

Hey...anyone of ya heard of an elctronic silencer? or does anyone have it? I heard about from my mate. If anyone knows about it, can you tell me about it...whether its good...worth getting etc etc.

hey assassin...i had one factory fitted on my 34... push the button and u couldnt hear the exhaust anymore. it would cut one of the inlet pipes to the muffler off ...but thats changed now since i put my blitz 3" exahuast cant use it no more, have to do it manually if i need it to be done..

My MRS car was the same as yours CNBLOW - hers was a factory Nismo optioned sports muffler that had 2 inlet pipes, the switch would either open or close one of them, quite nifty but didnt seem to make much difference on hers.

Assassin: it may be good to set it up with a dump / screamer pipe....or if you had a really loud exhaust and wanted to quieten down for epa test - but they will probably find the device anyway...basically an adjustable silencer is NOT allowed.

hey nismo34..thats what i had..the nismo muffler... worked quite good actually....but now im runnin the blitz exhaust....
