Quick Intake Question For A Gt3076r

Hey fellas,

I've got a quick question regarding the intake side of a garrett gt3076r...would you guys recommend running a 3" or 4" intake pipe into the turbo...i'm currently running a tiny apexi pod through a 3" pipe into my turbo on a 2JZ and i'm wondering if its a restriction to flow...

If the turbo has the proper 4" port shrouded intake than I would run with a 4" intake pipe

^ as above, run whatever side the compressor housing inlet is.

easy to test if its a restriction, simply take it off for one dyno run

depends on whether you have a afm or not. I presently have an afm so have to go from 80mm to 4"=100mm. If I end up with ahaltech/vipec/link etc then I could get rid of the afm and go 4" all the way.

Non vvti 2JZs run map sensors so i don't have an afm...cheers fellas...
