So tonight i felt a bad shudder coming from the rear drivers side wheel just before i rock into the driveway the car shuts down and the hicas light came up.

I started the car and went into the driveway.

Had a look under the car nothing seemed broken, undid the centre cap to my wheels and found the lug nuts to be loose.

Tightened them up and all is good.

So i'm wondering could the loose lug nuts cause my car to shut down?

like hicas usually kicks in after 80km/hr but could the loose nuts make the wheel have so much movement that hicas played up and shut down the car?
