at least once a drive, to work for example, the hazards flicker on and off for 2 seconds then stop, randomly as hell, i would just be cruising and they go off, i think it may have something to do with my alarm, as when i open the door the hazards seem to flicker to indicate the door is still open or its tripping the alarm i have no idea which.

i know its hard to say whats causing this issue but anyone have any ideas at all? or should i just take it straight to an auto electrician?

cheers

The easiest and least expensive way to find out is to unplug the alarm system and bypass the immobiliser/s, drive the car for a week and see if the problem has gone away. An auto electrician will charge by the hour to find an intermittant problem, besides, if it is the alarm system then it may cause your car to stall as well, while driving, so better to be safe then sorry. Another option would be to just disconnect the indicator's wires from the alarm, there should be 2 inline fuses which can be removed (for most alarms) temporarily, to see if the problem goes away.

ok, so im gonna take the fuses out, because i dont need flashy lights on my car when the alarm is engaged etc, will this affect normal indication and hazard operation?

where can i find these fuses? you said inline but i dont know what that means haha

cheers for the help!
