The car's still waiting to clear customs in Sydney (it's been on the wharf for a week and a half.) They're slacker than Melbourne that's for sure!

A random piece of my car turned up from Japan today, the service manual:

I'm assuming the shipping company kept it seperate to ensure that it wasn't taken at the wharf. Very thoughtful of them.

So happy this has finally come through for you Juliette :D

I recommended one of these to one of my clients & now she's interested too!

So the "Over Fenders", do they bolt / stick on top of the standard fenders for looks or does it poke out a bit to give more clearance so you can fit wider wheels?

I couldn't help myself...

They'll probably arrive before the car at this rate.

Nice, what sizing / offset are they?

I am sure they fill out the guards.

They stick on. They stick out an extra 17mm, but don't give any extra guard clearance as all they're doing is sticking over the standard metal guards, doors, bumpers etc. It's a 10 piece kit. Without the overfenders the wheels will sit flush with the standard guards, with the overfenders they'll sit in a smidge.

Ah yeah, I get you now.

You got 17mm to play with the wideness of your wheels and lower it just so it sits above... Awesome!

You getting the rear lip spoiler as well?

Hint in the pic you posted :P

My pretties arrived! They're so hawt in real life. Epic amounts of dish for a little wheel with weak offset. They're also incredibly lightweight. I love them and can't want to put them on the car...when it arrives that is

Cubey Cubey McCubic will be leaving Sydney bound for Melbourne this week. Then all it needs is a RWC, registration inspection and she's on the road. Woohoo, feels like it's been so long but it would have been under 3 months since she was purchased.

Next on the agenda is choosing coilovers. I'm currently doing a fair bit of research. There's so many brands available it's hard to make a decision however Cusco are looking the most likely choice due to the price. I only need something height adjustable, damper adjustment isn't necessary.

I have Cusco's and they are awesome!

They are hard as, but it being for a R32 GTR, I am sure Cusco's for a Cube would be totally different...

What are the prices for the Cusco's these days?

The Cusco Vacanza's I'm looking at are around the $950 mark plus shipping from Japan. I'll do a bit of hunting and bargaining to see if I can get them cheaper. The Cusco Vacanza's and pretty much every other coilover I've looked at are designed for comfort rather than all out handling being that they're for a Cube.
