How low are you wanting to go. If you're going to go stupidly low, there is no way to do it properly.

Even to go a decent amount of low you're not going to keep the springs captive, unless you fork out for shortened shocks. Its not a big deal though, the springs aren't going to go anywhere as the shock runs up the middle of them. And they won't unload on the highway, hard cornering is what will pop them out.

If ur going to butcher the springs may aswell do it to the stockers rather than spending money and then f**king it all up lol. You could always go S13 coilovers which will get you a decent amount of low. Tie rod ends become a problem then though.
