Well I just got a nice tax return and time to spend moneys on the gtr.

So far I have:

Power FC + hand controller

Oil cooler + catch can

3.5" full titanium exhaust

Blitz fmic + standard piping

Apexi super suction kit

Just got expensive oil and new spark plugs and runs very nice

I've decided on getting the Garret GT2860-9's as they seem to be a good balance between power and response on a pretty stock engine.

My next questions are:

Which cam gears to get? Racepace sell some in-house so might go with them

Which injectors to get? (i'm only going for high 200 kw's....nothing too big)

Do I need to get the Z32 AFM's? How do they compare to the stock ones?

Cheers,

Ash

cam gears are much the same, if you have a clear belt cover maybe get ones that look good?

i have sard 700's on mine but i wanna go to 330-350rwkw, so maybe 550cc/min

if you get z32 afms(80mm), you have to replace your apexi suction kit and the connector plugs

i went with rb20/25 afms(80mm), as they work with PFC, use the same plugs as rb26, and i just bought the apexi 80mm suction kit, although the rb20/25 afms dont have the high end resolution the z32's have

For high 200s, don't bother with AFM and Injectors - mine almost maxed out at 302rwkw with GT-SS/-9s.

If AFM upgrade is desired, get pair of Nismo AFM - direct replacment so no hack jobs needed.

Grab cam gears while you're at it.

Have you changed the clutch or do a 100,000km service?

Yeah noticed the nismo AFM's look like a cheaper plug and play option. Don't need the plugs so that's a plus!

Haven't changed the clutch, definately on the cards in the near future...they're so damn expensive. It's already got a aftermarket clutch in it but it's probably on its last legs.

Would it be worth getting injectors around the 550cc mark? Just don't want to be pushing parts to their limit, and 550's aren't too expensive.

Forgot to add it's got a aftermarket fuel pump in it. Not sure of the brand but works very well.

What's involved in a 100,000k service??
