hey guys i have a problem just and need some help,

i have an RB20det in my car

its running on 12psi and has some minor mods on it

i realized when i run the car hard

the dipstick pups out of the housing and oil spills on the engine bay and block

also there is oil in my intercooler piping

what can this problem be ?

The other thing to check is how tight the dip stick is in the hole. its getting old now and the rubber section might be a bit hard. I had the same issue on my gtr, got all worried did comp tests and leak down the whole lot then bought a new dip stick and it never happened again. I was happy!!

could also be failing pcv valve .

I did suggest that, migs sent me a photo of his engine bay and all the breather hoses are plumbed up correctly. If it isn't the PCV valve then I'm leaning towards dying rings..

Run a catch can, should fix the oil problem, that pipe is hooked up to your intake pipe and not your cooler pipe right?

A catch can won't FIX the problem, it's just a bandaid. It will just stop oil from accumulating throughout the intake piping and it will also prevent the detonation that might start happening as the oil in the intake stream lowers the RON of the fuel.
