Cant Find My Turbo Timer

This is in my 99 rs4s stagea

Ok, i have a Blitz i color and sbc and all that jazz,

got stock suspension about to go in so i can go over pits, getting new tyres tomorrow, but i cant find this dam turbo timer, I want to disable it so the guys at the pits dont cry at me,

i have taken the lower half of my dash off and still cant see it, any help or is the SBC a turbo timer also

I don't think they would have a cry at you man, turbo timers are surely not illegal? It's looking after your engine, not a performance upgrade.

It can be considered illegal if there is no way to over-ride it, from what i have heard.

To the OP i would also suggest built into the alarm, if you have an auto watch when the timer is running hit the small smooth (bottom right) button twice and see if the car turns off.

yes i have a mongoose x40

No idea if they are illegal or not, just dont want them bitching at me, due to the fact, when turbo timer is on, i am unable to set my alarm so i have to wait around till the turbo cools off, no display or anything to play with

When I got my first skyline, I couldn't find the tt either.....

Was tucked up away under the dash near the steering wheel..... Even when you knew where it was it was still a bitch to find......

Naw. I don't know what it means I have just had turbo timers built in like that before.

Yeh just means your turbo timer is wired to your handbrake. I would keep looking around the dash, maybe in the area behind the ash tray and cigarette lighter? If you don't have any controls for it then I think you have an aftermarket one that has been very well hidden.

Just put the handbrake down to turn it off before you let them look at it.
