Fount 2 wires cut behind intake manifold. pretty sure they are for temp sender, a green and a blue/black wire. looks like there have been cut off a plug, trying to find were they go not having much luck, can some one have a look or tell me were the hook up 2?? might need to pull main loom apart looks like its been taped up may have cut wires in there.

only wires I can think of which are behind the intake manifold is the plug for the IACV valve (Idle air control valve). Might explain bad start as mentioned in your title?

Take note of the brown plug to the right of the photo. Do you have those wiring? (disregard the red circles)

yes, but why do most rb20's take alot longer to start compared to a 25 or 26?

yea iv got the same wires. the wires cut use to have a connection on it which goes to another connection going to the heater hoses on the fire wall at around the same hight as the wires. mine have been unplugged for years.
