Point being? ^

These have a 12 month warranty, the idea of that is that if it breaks within 12 months you can get it replaced. Yours broke within two weeks, so you still had a little bit of time before the warranty expired.

point being if you want to keep changing it when it cracks and new gaskets and studs(maybe if your unlucky), i did change it over once then removed it for a different one

A gasket can be used more than once you know.

You got unlucky. They are alot better than they used to be.

I had one on my R33 that was regularly tracked, and daily driven. No problems with mine at all. Bar the initial boost creep that was a fault of earlier designs.

I changed mine, however for different requirements.

Which one didn't tighten, one of the four top bolts or one of the two bottom nuts? I've got all 6 in place so it's certainly possible with the JJR front/dump.

I WD40's the bejesus out of mine before pulling them out and then trial tightened the bolts and nuts in fully (without the dump) to make sure they'd go all the way in without problems.

the middle bolt next to the engin block i recon i need a bent open ender (half moon spanner)

Strange, I thought I got that one open & tightened fine with a long socket. Or maybe I used a uni joint. Can't remember...
