Hey guys! This is quite annoying, when I fill up petrol there seems to be some resistance with flow into the fuel tank so the servo fuel pump keeps shutting off. The only way around this seems to be to fill it slowly but once I overfilled and ended up with petrol all over my shoes.

Anyone else have this problem?

The nozzles shut off in reaction to back-pressure - change the "angle of the dangle" to change the way back-pressure builds up.

Some nozzles seem more sensitive than others - try a different pump.

+1 for changing angle of dangle, and sometimes it just cant be helped as the pump nozzle is just rooted. they click and carry on no matter what you do. i find united petrol stations bad for this :bunny:

Yeah some pumps I have major major issues - look like an idiot with people staring, others it's fine - no issues. Definitely try other peoples suggestions - pull it out a little bit, don't pull so hard, change the angle, all sorts. Usually works.
