oil on clutch

guys i have a small amount of what looks like oil coming down onto my clutch!

any ideas?

yes onto the clutch pedal.

do you have an aftermarket oil pressure guage installed? If so it may be a capillary line type that carries engine oil to the rear of the guage and may be leaking. Alternatively your engine maybe leaking a substantial amount of oil that has built up on the firewall and is making its way through a grommet then onto your pedal box. Start lookin at the rear of the engine bay for answers.

You may find that the clutch master cylinder piston is on the way out and leaking past the seal, I've had this happen to me before.

Lucky you don't have oil on the clutch plate, my mate had an oil line break and spray oil over the clutch, now it's the most horrible sounding button clutch you've ever heard
