I heard that there's some parts worth to swap while your playing with the tranny.

I'm installing a twin plate ( either orc 559 or os giken ts2b).

My parts list is:

Nismo SS clutch line

Nismo slave

Nismo solid shifter ( is it really worth it? )

Am I missing something?

Its a good opportunity to change the below while the gearbox is out:

Spigot bearing,

Release bearing, (might be supplied with the twin plate kit - if not ensure you have the correct size)

Pivot point,

Front g/box cover gasket,

Rear main seal gasket if your keen.

Before you buy the Nismo Slave make sure it is compatible with the clutch. Some twin plates cannot be used with it.

Don't bother with the nismo slave unless you use the nismo master.

Why? I hear this alot. You can't use the Nismo slave without this and that. I have run my twin plate coppermix competition model with a Nismo slave for 4 years and roughly 20,000 kms. Yet to have 1 issue. Food for thought?

because you shorten the amount of travel.

Correct Dave.

Makes a difference at high RPM.

We both know someone who went through this exact issue.

The whole idea of the nismo setup is to be able to run a heavier clutch and still have the same feel, hence the larger master and slave cylinders. They are designed to work together.

Where can I found those parts numbers?
