Recently my skyline has been lacking in performance.....I have had a couple of opinions from different mechanics telling me that the constant vibration is caused from dirty fuel clogged up in the fuel sytem or my coil packs/spark plugs may be faulty. You guys have probably answered these questions a thousand times over but if you have any advice as to diagnosing this problem it would be a great help as i would rather do the maintenance myself rather than going to a mechanic who will rip me off....

Thanks

Nick

PS. I have recently had service done on it fuel filter, oil change etc however this solution didnt help :P

Just a thought, if you have a clogged up fuel system your car could be running sluggish because your ECU has detected knock and has retarded your timing. Not being a mechanic i am not telling you this is the case just a suggestion. I know when i had knocking/pinging issue in my R33 the timing was so retarded when i took it to the Dyno i had lost 40 rear wheel horsepower.

Yeah i have been told by a number of mechanics at work that the fuel system could be clogged up with crap...i tried a fuel system cleaning solution however that did F@!K all...first of all i will be changing my spark plugs...failing that i will probably take it to ice performance in cheltenham.....
