Hi guys, I am thinking of selling my GT-T imported early this year to switch to a continental car. It is a series II 06/2001 (one of the newest GT-T's) in Bayside Blue (terribly rare find) with factory sunroof. Collectors, this is your chance!

KMS: approx 68,000 (have logbooks from Japan, rarely ever driven here)

Reason for selling: Upgrading to a continental car

The engine is pretty much stock, so you can modify it to how you want to. It does, however have a custom exhaust. Some parts of the car were resprayed to maintain paintwork. Car has only been driven approx. 5k kms since imported early this year and is due for a servicing before selling. RWC will come with the car as well.

Additional information:

MOMO Steering wheel with airbags (slight wear and tear)

Z-Tune style front bar from JSAI with lip and clear indicators

Factory option Nissan sideskirts (will add in stock sideskirts and Z-tune style side skirts for new owner to change)

Stock rear bar (debadged when it was resprayed to maintain paintwork)

18" Work VS-SS rims (2nd hand being sold for above 1.5k, will throw in stock rims as well)

Near brand new 225/40/18 Federal-EVO tyres (cost almost $1k brand new)

Replaced old battery with Heavy Duty BOND Battery

Coolant was flushed and replaced approx. 2 months ago

Clarion Double DIN DVD/MP3 Player

RAZOR Metal Gear Knob

Imported 2 clean front GT-T seats to replace old ones which got terribly dusty.

Car is located in Clayton, Victoria and has been garaged all the way. Plates do not come with the sale. Inspections are welcome.

Pics will be up in a couple of hours!

Thanks for replying guys,

Spark: I'm seriously contemplating changing over to a hatch like a volvo c30 or golf GTI :(

Sheng: Yeah it's probably too high but right now not in any hurry to sell,

cheers buds.

    • Thanks for reaching out!  It's a blessing and a curse at the same time.  I'm undiagnosed but it doesn't take a rocket scientist to see it in me... I have more half started projects laying around my house, shed, garden, etc taking up space and money, destroying aesthetics than if I added up all of my mates projects together. But, ADHD gives me the ability to hyper focus on things that no mere mortal could even  comprehend.  A recent pool build is an example of that....  I dont know anyone else that would be dumb enough and focused enough to take on then complete something of that magnitude. I call ADHD a superpower but it can equally be completely destructive if not controlled and focusedon the right places. Addiction is a major concern to ADHD people and thankfully my addictions have been no worse than projects, XBOX, chocolate and being an arsehole! It's often hereditary and my 13 year old son is currently learning how to drive it at the moment. Keep lurking! If i can finally finish this bloody thing at some point it will be a win for all of us ADHD'ers! 🤪
    • I've been quietly following this thread for ages, but this one got me. Since my ADHD diagnosis (and associated learnings and prescription) I'm way less inclined to wade into forum yarns when there are better things to do with my time, as half the time I'd end up in some kind of forum debate even if that wasn't my intention. I've not lost the ADHD "superpowers", just am a lot better at directing my hyperfocus into slightly more constructive things, but haven't stopped quietly lurking in here in my spare time.
    • Stripped the tank down and gave it a good scrub. It came up really good! Not sure if I'll just put it back in like that or give it a blackening treatment (such as Bowdens The Black Box). That might give it a matte look so might just run it as is.
    • @MBS206 Ha ha, yeah ADHD is a daily battle to not get drawn in to doing things you want to do that you know you shouldn't do!  Every single time I walk into my shed I end up doing something I started the day having zero intention of doing! I keep mentioning the 1 step forward, 3 steps back scenario and I'm tipping people that are blessed with ADHD (yes, blessed) are the worst at that!
    • We import a lot of cars from Japan. I'd say that approximately 20% of our traffic is imported JDM cars (mainly consumer cars like the Mazda Demio, Toyota Yaris, Honda Fit, Suzuki Swift, etc.). We also import a lot from the UK, but this has decreased after Brexit. Apart from the consumer vehicles, two of the larger, well-known dealerships frequently import iconic '80s/'90s JDM cars. I haven't heard of anyone importing from Australia, and they are not advertised (unlike Japanese ones), despite a lot of Maltese migrating to Australia in the '50s and '60s.
