Rear Tire Size For 9" Rim

Would just like to know which would suite the rear of my r33 gtst better; 255/40/17 or 255/45/17 on a 9" rim with +30 ET, the fronts are 235/45/17 no rolling or flaring done front or rear, would like to know if they will fit and will they rub?

It should be 255/40R17 to keep as close to same rolling diameter to the fronts. I don't think it will rub, but worse case scenario is you might have to roll the lip. It depends on how much camber you're running and ride height.

Gut feel would be that on a +30 wheel with standard guards, you're going to end up with the tire rubbing the guard.

Either way, best choice would be the 255/40/17

go 255/40/17 and they will fit ur guards with out rollin or flaring i sold my old wheels to my friend with a r33 they were 9icnh 28+ pretty similar with 255/40/17 they just fit in they sit in line with the guards but his car isnt lowered... they didnt rub tho
