i like MDTC and have used it a few times with circuit club and other groups, did they bump up the price recently?

might be to pay their legal bills to fight off all the NIMBY neighbors, so sad as its a great track!

um wheres sutton road? and whens someone going to get us all mates rates at EC?

haha, Eastern Creek's operators (ARDC) have no mates! They will hire it to us for $20k for a day. Bit out of our price range. I did actually ask the pres of ARDC last time we spoke about it, but basically they are booked out all year and can charge what they want. They have no interest in acting like a real "club" and helping out other enthusiasts....more like an RSL club....just make more money.

Ever since Oran Park is gone it has got much worse. Even Wakefield put their rates up 20% this year, at least they are still an acheiveable price.

Not really, the AGM is next week so whoever is Prez after that can look at it.

IMO it's not worth it, the hire costs are just silly, I'd prefer to run a Sutton Rd Texi for that kind of money which allows for more people and more driving time (being 3 courses run at the same time all day) for the same entry fee to the drivers. Basically much better value for money

    • Hi All, I have a 32 GTR, with coilovers, hicas lock bar, exhaust and pod filters. Just after suggestions on where to begin with engine/power output mods without breaking the bank. Thanks in advance.
    • I’ve been considering one of these screens too, but I've heard mixed reviews about the software responsiveness. Some say it's great, while others mention lag issues. Before pulling the trigger, I'd check out a few recent user experiences to see if the latest models have improved.
    • Kaizo Industries put a VIN plate over where the Nissan plate would go. It was part of how they broke the law and attracted feds going after them.
    • Reasonably hard, although I haven't run it with the new Endless setup yet. The old brakes were F50's on 335mm rotors and the car did a 1:40.6 at Phillip Island which is a reasonable time, I'm seeing high 600s on the temperature paint. A guy I know ran the Endless fluid at WTAC without issues and he was doing 1:33's I think (Evo) with a 355/332 setup. I don't get out to the track as much as I'd like but we put the car on the hoist and spanner check every bolt and re-paint mark everything, bleed the brakes, change the fuel, check the coolant system and re-bleed blah blah blah before every event. Motorsport is expensive, RB's are expensive so a couple of hours before an event is time well spent. It's also a net time saving because if you can keep your RB from self destructing it saves you time in the long term!
